Re: List of dvd bootlegs
^I was there! My only ATL show and that town's reputation for great 311 setlists definitely held up.
We were supposed to have will-call pit tickets there but the pre-sale people apparently didn't communicate with the house and the phone number on the tickets was not helpful at all, so we were screwed. After careful deliberation (and scoping out the perimeter of the fence), my gf at the time and I decided since we drove all the way from bmore that we should just fork over the cash and get us some shitty seat tickets. Well, somebody saw us get in line for a second time and asked us if we needed a pair of tix since his friends were no-shows. Turns out it was one of Nix Hex's old high school buddies that had seats in the family/VIP section. It was my only time tripping on sid and just as it was kicking in, they busted into -- of all things -- Homebrew! (and I happened to be 19! I couldn't have made this shit up any better) That, along with a few other rarities, is all I can distinctly recall from the show itself. After the show I finagled a couple VIP passes from people coming back from the buses, not knowing I'd be thwarted by the markings on used passes. Just as I was at my mopey-est, looking down at my hands, some dude (guitar tech?) planted a handful of guitar picks in my open hand. Afterwards we had to drive back right away because she had a PM shift the next day -- 15 hour drive and I was still tripping. I can't even begin to describe what the lane markings looked like so I insisted we pull over and nap a little while. Anyway, every 311 show I've ever been to has had some kind of adventure tied into it, but this one takes the cake for biggest emotional rollercoaster.
Definitely check out an ATL show if ya can!

I think he means ETSD II, where they ask them if they'll have outrageous ticket prices the next time they come through town.
