Blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. VERY disappointing.
I wasn't impressed AT ALL.
Granted, I have never read the books or anything, but stil. My friend who went with me is like a huge hardcore geek for the book, and he hated the movie. He said they changed like everything from the books, and shit.
The whole thing was pretty shallow, and I didn't even like any of the characters much. It was fuckin' boring too. I donno... I didn't even have any expectations going in, and it still sorta let me down.
It wasn't the worst movie in the world, and it did have a tiny bit of redeeming value at the end when pieces started coming together, but other than that is was completely... just meh.

I just saw the movie too. I thought it was great. And I've read all the books, own the dvd of the bbc televisions series, and have the original bbc radio broadcasts in mp3. They did change and add some elements for the movie, but I thought it was a great adaptation.
My opinion is worth more than Jordan's.
