did you do that in photoshop? do you have the PSD file?
you should keep the center 311 on the top layer and merge down everything else underneath it. then do Filter->Distort(or Blur)->Radial blur and do it on the one that looks like you're zooming foward

I did it in the GIMP. On Windows that's all I have. I believe it can do what you're suggesting, though. Here's the file for GIMP. Maybe PhotoShop can open it.

uhmmmm... i wasnt looking at the site when i made the modifications but now that i'm looking at the logo on the top of the site it fits perfectly. luck rules.

So, it's up there and it looks great. Then I noticed that the name of the site isn't anywhere. I used some CSS to overlay the text "Taiyed Brodels" onto your logo, but it looks pretty damn shitty to me. I'll have to somehow add it in GIMP to the actual image...
Nice! I'm going to put that up as soon as I get home. Let me put something at the bottom of the page giving you credit for the logo. Do you want it to say fatlip or your real name?
