Post by $ayzak »

33 minutes. Just under 3 quarters of action.

Michael Jordan scored 62 points in OVERTIME. Playing like 48 minutes.

Imagine if Kobe had stayed in the remaining 12 minutes.

He was scoring a basket like every 53 seconds.

He could have easily eclipsed 80. Maybe even got to 90.

Rediculous.

I heard it was Kobe's choice to stay out of the game in the 4th quarter. I think it was a classy choice. Imagine how much the league would have hated him had he rubbed it in...

After 3 quarters it was Kobe 62, other team 61.

Haha... damn.

I think they will beat the heat. Just because right now they have so much confidense. But it will be an interesting show down between coaches as well as shaq/kobe.

yeah...well if it was kobe's choice...than it was definetly a classy move...thats amazing that one person can out score a whole team...not only would everyone in the league be pissed...that he scored like 80 points...but his teamates would have been hella pissed...i kno i would...i would probably be pissed...if someone even scored 62 points
What....uh....you kno the freaks cant handle it!!!

Kobe Bryant is the most arrogant, selfish, piece of shit prick in professional sports....bar none. Kobe will never win anything without Shaq, don't even mention Jordan and Kobe in the same breath.
The circle is now complete. It is now a circle.

I don't like Kobe either, but I can't ignore his tallent. If he had the discaplin and respect for the game that Jordan had, he could do everything Jordan did. But like you said, he's a selfish player. It's just fun to see him explode some times.

Tim Duncan is better. Tim Duncan is possibly the most complete big man of all time.

Shaq is far more dominant even in his older age than Duncan could ever be. Imagine those two facing off in their primes? Wouldn't even be funny. It'd be cruel.

Although. neither one could buy a free throw.

Shaq might dominate Duncan, but Shaq is no way a complete player. Duncan can put it on the floor, shoot from 15 out, uses the board on 15 out, passes, rebounds, he just does it all. Sure Shaq is dominant, but in no way as complete of a big man as Duncan.

True that. I don't understand how Duncan does those crazy bank shots. I haven't seen anyone on the league do that so well. Shaq can pass too, but once it's in his paws he usually doesn't have to. If duncan were the size of Shaq... now THAT would be fun to watch. :D

EDIT:

Although, I like KG's game more than Duncan's. Mainly because he has more passion. He flips out, pounds his chest, and puts his emptions to good use on the court. Last year against Sacromento I saw him nail two 3's in 8 seconds to send it into over time, and then he dominated overtime, hitting another 3 at the buzzer to win it. All because one of thep layers tried to trash talk him during the 4th quarter. I don't see Duncan getting fired up like that.

I hate to say it, but if they just let him loose, and allowed him to play every minute of the game, he could get 100.

55 points in the second half alone... had he played the entire game he could have scored... 110?

Damn.

whats better is the position he did it from. scoring 81 from the guard spot, shooting 3's and long jumpers is more impressive to me than wilt's 100 down low against white guys 6 inches smaller than him.
