Happy 311 Day!
I spent most of the day recovering from last night and totally forgot about it being 3/11 most of the day.
Side note, wish the discounts at the store were a little better. Could use a new 311 shirt or two.

Re: Happy 311 Day!
I would have loved to have been at the show, but I got another Europe trip planned, I'm turning 30 in a few days so I've got a trip planned for that, and I have 2 conferences coming up in March. Just too busy and couldn't justify the numbers to head over.

It was so fucking good. Hope the full show gets released somewhere online soon or they put that on DVD/bluray.

you're not the 311-est jimy. not even close.$lmjimy311 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 12, 2018 9:12 am Ahh gotcha. Yeah if it comes out in Blu Ray I'll for sure get it but just didn't care to sit on my couch for two nights and watch s concert for like 8 hours.
It was the best fucking time. I had a buddy over and we had beers and snacks, wings and tacos. 2 days in a row. even took the monday off work (AU timezones) to watch night 2. It was like super bowl x100.
you may be too cool for school when it comes to 311 these days, but honestly, nothing gets me more hyped than 311 day. Even after all these years, I still get amped as fuck for this band sometimes. Even though I don't listen to them as much throughout the year, 311 day time just makes me feel like a kid again. haha. best

Re: Happy 311 Day!
Honestly, I will probably never go to a 311 day unless they have it in Omaha. Does that still make me an uber-fan? Probably not in your guy's opinion. But I've still seen them live nearly 10 times, which in my mind qualifies and is more than the average person can say. It's just not realistic for most people to drop a k to go to NO or LV or Memphis for that matter when you factor in hotels, food, etc. I'm saying this because realistically, I can't see them doing this for another 10 years.

Re: Happy 311 Day!
hey man nobody is throwing shade at you for not being a big enough 311 fan. I'm lucky enough that finances have not been too tight and I could see 311 day a few times. I'm all the way out in AU now so it's much more difficult. If they do a cruise next year though, I'm very much hoping I can swing it and go. Never been on a cruise before.bcolephases wrote: ↑Mon Mar 12, 2018 6:55 pm Honestly, I will probably never go to a 311 day unless they have it in Omaha. Does that still make me an uber-fan? If I could afford the cruise I would pick that before 311 day. It just seems more fulfilling. It's been over 10 years since I've been on a cruise but that would definitely be a dream come true.Jordan311 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 12, 2018 9:00 pmhey man nobody is throwing shade at you for not being a big enough 311 fan. Re: Happy 311 Day!
That's fair enough. I just don't get that way about music as much anymore. My hype comes in the form of albums. 311 Day in NOLA was something I'll never forget, don't get me wrong, but this 311 day I listened to exactly 0 311 songs and forgot about it (aside from a hungover morning post) for the vast majority of the day.Jordan311 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 12, 2018 6:24 pmyou're not the 311-est jimy. not even close.$lmjimy311 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 12, 2018 9:12 am Ahh gotcha. Re: Happy 311 Day!
Blu-ray no doubt in my mind! Talk to 311's MEDIA A/V GUY B-LOVE. The guy that doesn't like me doing 311 A/V productions.
Spoken.
