311 Song "Sally"????

Okay was looking through EBay and saw this listing for "311 the harder they come live danbury ct 1995 super rare original cd":

The seller want's $79.99, so of course I'd never ever think or consider buying this, but I looked at the track listing on the back (picture #3 in the listing) and if you look Track # 12 is titled "Sally". I've never ever heard of 311 having a song called "Sally" so am curious if anyone has heard of this track or knows anything about it, especially if it is a real 311 track if anyone has an mp3 of it please, please share...thanks

Most bootlegs from the 90s have at least one song mislabeled on the track list, ie: "F**ck, 311, F**ck!!"

However, there aren't ANY shows from 95 on archive right now, so it'd be cool to rip and upload

Hey there, I lurk around TB and figured I might as well log in again since I have this boot. "Sally" is Omaha Stylee, but more importantly, this is the same show as the "Kind" CD recorded in '94. Nothing to get excited over considering it's not as rare as '95 shows.

thanks for clearing that up, I was going to mention I'd never heard of "the harder they come". It's a pretty shitty boot name too..............and that's compared to "All doped up" the megamix with cheech and chong skits blended with album tracks and b-sides

No problem. Just out of curiosity, what shows were Live from the Pit and What's up Atlanta? Were those shows widely pressed with artwork? I'm pretty sure the Red Rocks '96 show was titled Opium in trading circles back in the day but I'd never seen art for that, either.

Live from the pit was from santa barbara 96. That's the first live 311 I ever heard, it was recorded and broadcast on the radio with an interview with pnut every few songs I believe. I was 16 at the time and was super excited when tribute was played. I was thinking, holy shit, this is a new song i'd never heard before. a couple months later ETSD1 came out and I heard the album version. This show made up for about half of "311 Live!" and I was a bit disappointed that they took a previously broadcast live show, blended with audiences NOT from that show and dropped the audience way too abruptly as the next track started, the other half of Live! was from new oreleans 97 if memory serves

I miss being that excited for new material, the internet has spoiled everything in life

LOL glad everything has been explained but disappointed in that I was really hoping I had found out about a new 311 b side, and someone here at TB would have the mp3 for it and I'd get a new 311 song out of it

I got both of those shows from live311.com (the SB 96 show and NO 97 show). I knew the NO show was used for "311 Live!", but I got it anyways because I wanted to hear the songs not included on Live!. Anyways, I never realized that Tribute and Hydroponic were pulled from the SB show. I just compared the tracks and they sound the same, so you're defintely right. They added some effects for the Live! album though like you said: crowd noise, more echoes, etc
