I don't have too many rarities or collectibles. What I have is a shirt from my first 311 show auto'd by Tim, SA, and Chad. I met them on the side of Caddy's in Cincinnati in 1996. Nick had a bum hamstring and was being a bitch in the bus. Didn't know where P-Nut was. Tim was the coolest. I also have a Transistor promo CD. It's the whole album that I picked up from a record store three weeks before it came out. It is the regular CD with just a gold foil stamp on it for promo uses only.
I had an opportunity to meet them at a pre-show event I won tickets to back in 2003. My dickhead boss at the time wouldn't let me leave a meeting early enough to get there on time. I was making too much money so I couldn't quit. Made it there as they were doing soundcheck but the assholes at the station wouldn't let me in. Everyone came out afterwards with auto'd shit and the dude from the station gave me unautographed posters and a pass. I was fumin.
I used to have Unity and Dammit but I think someone stole them. I would like to get a hold of these again. Don't care if they are ripped or not. Had about 15 live bootlegs at one point in time, but I sold them. I have a VHS tape of of a show from Danbury, Conn on 10/9/1994.

thanks for the props.
i usually get ripped on, in the UBB any time anyone posts pictures of my stuff or if people refer others to me for questions about merch.
it's a fun hobby to have, and i've gotten an e-mail or two from the guys in the band (through like peter or joan, so no i don't have thier e-mail addresses), talking about a few of my items. all of it is really special to me because everything has a story behind it, even the stuff i found on ebay, but i've gotten other stuff from trading with fans, obviously going to shows, charity auctions, and 1 or 2 things from the band themselves. all i'm really missing that i'd like to have is the Unity CD and there's a rumor that I was told by Peter that Capricorn marketed a "Homebrew: Home beer brewing kit".
Joan remembers hearing about it too, but there's been no confirmation.
i'd love to shoot the shit about any of the stuff if you'd like.
and thanks again! just my love for 311!!

I got a Transistor poster. It's panaramic-like in display (like a foot high, 3 feet long) and says coming August 5th, with blue sky and clouds. I love it, I got it custom framed/matted.
I also got the first page of the setlist from the 2nd night in NYC this past fall. Those are the only "rare-ish" type things I got. I bought about 5 shirts this year so far haha

I'll second that he is not telling a lie. Nick did say this, because the Hexum bro's tour stopped by Springtown the day the DVD got released. Fucking Fez.juanbond7 wrote:Oh yeah, and I also have the first 311 day DVD ever signed by 311 (well just nick), but still, it was the first ever.....pretty sweet
