G. Love and Special Sauce tonight!

Post by 311Chik »

WOOHOO! I don't have tickets but they should still be available when I get to the box office. Doors open at 7 show starts at 9 and there is no opener. So weird to me. Should be a good show though, can't wait :D

Show was sooo good. There was this crazy rasta and his band on before G. Love (didn't think there was going to be an opener), think they would be good to tour with 311. They had a ton of energy and were great, totally into the music. G. Love came on at like 10, late because they were watching the baseball game haha. I took a bunch of pictures on my phone and recorded some songs (very crappy).

G. Love has moved up to my second favorite act. What a bad ass. Sam, that show rocked so hard. So, so, hard.

His set was a mix of old and new. He brought out the crazy rasta, two son(or however he spells it) for a song. Then the band went off for about 2 minutes, G-Love came back, did some acoustic songs, the other guys came out to finish up the set. When they walked off they came right back out to say they would do one more song :D

Yes he did :D

After the show the bassist was getting a TON of groupies, it was hilarious to watch.
