So ahead of his time! Listen to Closer and tell me that's not dubstep (sort of). Certainly a better representative of it than anything Korn ever did.

But NIN's catalog is filled with music that describe moments, feelings, or ideas so well that the lyrics drift into the background. Lyrics, by the way, that are often artistic, poetic, yet efficient.

The older I get, the better I understand it, and the more I like it.

I just recently dived into their cataligue and man, there are some gems. My fav is probably the fragile side with into the void and where is everybody, but even their (his) instrumentals are amazing.
