Luke, how much do you know about that whole Canterbury Scene in Britain from the 60s and 70s? Any other cats you'd suggest checking out? I'm really digging this record.

that's about all i got. i'd definitely recommend the soft machine. egg coupled with gong and the soft machine are the best stuff out of that scene.

That reminds me I've been meaning to download the soft machine. whichever album has "hazard profile" on it. I heard it like 6 months ago on satellite radio and thought it was amazing and had made a note in my phone to download it.

I'm actually downloading a couple albums of theirs as we speak. I'm snagging their self titled one and Volume 2...Are there any that you'd recommend? What would you call their seminal record? I'm always interested in finding band's most precious works. But anyways, I'll let you know what I think when they finally finish downloading.
