Just got a new car today! :)

Done deal. Got myself a Certified preowned Volkswagen Jetta GL . 2003, only 34K miles and free 2 year bumper to bumper warranty for abour $13,000. I got a good lease on it so it's gonna be real affordable too.

From a dilapidated old 91 ford mustang 2.3l rusted out piece of shit with no door handles and like 150,000 miles on it to this car. I'm a very happy boy
I'm gonna get it nice and pimped out a little more tomorrow and then take some pics and stuff. It's like a dark gunmetal gray. I really like the color and I'll probably get a sunroof put in closer to the summer if I can put aside a little money for that.

just get a 2000-2001 S4 for the same price(actually prolly less) but it doesnt look gay, and has 270 HP stock, but since the turbos arent actually putting that much boost on, a chip gets you over 310. its what im gonna get as soon as i graduate and have need of a car again.

well you can get a '00 - '02 S4 for under 15 grand easy, and the gti's are more if they are new, i dont know if hes talking about a new one, but the new GTIs are more, and all the R32s are i believe

yeah i know its a lot of mileage, but theyre fuckin sweet cars! and its used you usually cant find one with much less but even if you do its only 13, and im not tryin to say thats not a lot of money, it is, especially for something used and 7 years old, and i think that B5 bodystyle is one of the best looking cars ever that is reasonably attainable(ie lambos and ferraris aside). id take it over an m3 anyday, and a lot less espensive, but i mainly want it for tuner purposes, which they prolly dont, but still, theyre SWEET cars

a blue one would be cool, but id rather the red or yellow, with some black rims, tinted windows from a ghetto place more than legal blackness so itll be cheaper/cooler, 2inch suspension lowering, maybe get some rs4 style body work done

chipped, new turbos/exhuase/intake system, new brakes(color matching car color PIMP) some pirelli rubber(jk michelins prolly) and various and sundry other engine parts

then new stereo, and then new seats(color matching car) with 5pt harness for taking to track fo funness

would you beat the shit out of me for driving that



too bad MAYBE only the actual car thing will happen, but those are what i would like to do, i could get it up to like 500-600 hp without breaking a sweat, and if i REALLY wanted to get shit done i could push it to like 800, it will definately exceed the buck60 speedo, and burn basically anything you can throw at me on the track due to the quattro handling, so unless you have an gt2 or something, you will get smoked, only problem is drag racing from a stop it wont be that amazing due to turbo lag, but it will still get the job done

i sold it when i came up to school in philly, cuz #1 it was an automatic, #2, i wanted to eventually get an s4 and so i figured that if i kept it i would just sell it when i graduated to upgrade to the s4, so went ahead and sold it, it would have been worthless to just let it sit and depreciate and only get 4 months of use out of it a year when i could just drive my mothers car when i was home since its so little time its not a nuisance, plus i knew a guy who wanted it, and i wanted to be able to see her whenever i wanted, got laid for the first time in that car, it kinda has sentimental value
