Disc golf

Do any of you guys play? I just started playing this quarter, we have to t ake 3 gym classes for my college, and that was one they offered. I thought it'd be really boring, but it's actually pretty fun. Just wondering if any of you play as well.

I think Matt plays. infact i'm pretty postive, becuase i remember telling him about my fear of frisbees.

yes i absolutely love to play disc golf. ive been playing a good year and a half it seems...you should come down to mobile where it all started! there are 3 really really good courses...i'm going to be in a tournament on the 30th and i'm gonna be in the alabama sports festival during the summer.

I'm not very good at all. I had actually never thrown a frisbee... well that's kind of a lie, I attempted to last summer once but it was terrible, and I took a class my school was offering. I've been playing just about every day for the past few months though. My college has a course on our campus, which is pretty cool, so it's easy to play 36 holes a day sometimes. It's addictive and it's so nice when the weather is good. I'm sure though that anywhere I travel from now on, I'll find a disc golf course to play at

I already found out where the closest courses are where I'll be for the summer.

It can be pretty fun. I never played at an actual course. What we did was we would play around my house calling out the hole (a tree, rock, etc.) It was fun to play like that.

I always played ultimate ball, either way that game is fun as hell.

Yeah... I'm kind of scared to try that though. I played soccer for like 13 years, and my senior year of high school I pulled a tendon in my hip and played through it half of the season (I got cortisone, ultrasound therapy, physical therapy like 3 times a week so I could keep playing), and it's fine most of the time but I can't really run fast and then switch directions without it feeling like someone's jabbing a knife into my hip. So I think I"ll stick to disc golf for the sake of my body

I sound like an 80 year old woman... lol. But it's just the really quickly switching directions thing that does it. Ultimate looks fun as hell though.

Disc is always fun...although i am not very good...most my friends are beasts at throwing some disc..

I'm not one of them.

But yes, Disc rules. One of the better games I have played, especially with reefer drugs present.
