Gas Prices and the Scam
So in my area (VA Beach), we have had a big gas situation this week. About 45-60% of the gas stations ran out of gas for about two days. Many Exxon stations and Shells were out totally. The days up to they were out of everythign but premium.
So my question is. How much of this is just the scam of locking in higher gas prices for the warm weather?
Anyone else having this problem in thier cities?
It's $3.09 for Regular in SE Virginia.

I live in a small town about 20-30 minutes from a "city". Even those "cities" aren't real cities. So... gas prices are always expensive here. In the "country" areas it seems like they do that... my hometown is about 20 miles from Toledo, and gas prices are ALWAYS about 20 cents more expensive than in the city.
haha, my sister's gas got syphened (sp) a few times in the past few months. and i sure as hell hope gas doesn't get to $5 any time soon... but then again, it was only $2 a month ago and now it's up to $3.fatlip wrote:cost me about $40 for 13.5 gallons of gas the other day
thats weak.
good thing i got a motorcycle now
as soon as the prices hit $5, i'm getting a lock for my tank.
Music's what i need to keep my sanity

This shit is getting regoddamndiculous! It cost me like $65 for a tank. And I have to fill up about 2 times a week. There are so many people getting rich off of this. So many people that I think the source of this will never be uncovered. Notice the news blames this on the simplest bullshit like "gas prices increased to day becasue a BP truck had to wait at a red light for ten seconds too long" when it is simply that these fuckers know we have to have gas. I am practically working to buy gas to get to work so I can buy some more gas.
Bobby, You be quiet out there.

I am beginning to feel the same way. Even though I (forgive me) voted for him. Me and my brother were talking about this and he brought up a good point. It may not be the fact that Bush is into to oil, which we all know he is, it is kinda just the fact that everyone in the world either hates his guts or thinks he is an idiot. I can only assume that if oil producing countries think he is an idiot that will reflect on us also.GOATBURGE wrote:george bush

maybe i'm just psychotic man, but it seems like everything bad in this country can easily relate back to our shitty president -- afterall, the main shitty thing was started by him.

only 14? 14 bucks is alot of moneyAlex wrote:Well actually there was a proposed bill here in Colorado to get rid of the gas tax, which would cut 24 cents off the gallon.
But then obviously it was axed because you would only save an average of 14 bucks a month.
I actually ride a bike to college (yes those old fashioned pedal ones)
