I got robbed at gun point today.

11 in the morning. $60. They were black, maybe 20/25 years old.

Whole thing lasted maybe 10 seconds, if that. At first I was numb. Didn't seem real. It wasn't until the degenerate pieces of shit scurried away that I began to process what had happened, and began to get angry. I've been living a good, clean life, responsibly. I have a hot girlfriend, and her and her family adore me. I'm finding happiness, despite so much shit I've been through. And some lazy, ignorant loser points a gun at me. He was a squeeze of a trigger away from taking it all away from me. For $60.

Lots of risk, very little reward. I mean, they'd have to do that every day, successfully, to pull in what they could full time at, what, $10/hr?

Sorry to hear that man. Nothing is worth my life (or putting my family at risk), so I hope put in that situation in real life I would give everything they want to just leave me (and my family) alone and alive.

Absolutely everything is hiring around here, man. You can get a job bagging groceries for $18 an hour just a mile from where I got robbed. These kids did it because they didn't want to get a job. Nothing in the world is going to convince me otherwise.

I had three jobs just 6 months ago. I quit one. I quit the other one the day I got robbed and drove straight to my remaining place of employment and worked the rest of a shift there. Later, my girlfriend's neighbor offered me another job. I haven't filled out an application in years. Jobs grow on trees out here.
