so a friend of mine just upgraded to windows 7 and his dvd burning software doesn't work (ya know the one that gets rid of copyright protection), can anyone tell me a good program to use?

dvdfab is good too but not as simple as this one above. If you can find it DVDShrink works the best. Quick and easy one click software

i completely forgot about DVDshrink, it's pretty good but it hasn't been updated in like 5 years. neither has dvddecrypter tho..

so jimy, your best bet is gonna be AnyDVD (runs in the bg, decrypts on the fly) and copying software, i.e. CloneDVD. they're both on demonoid
btw, how does this friend of yours like windows 7? a friend of mine is thinking about upgrading..

yea i gave him anydvd a while back but hte version he has doesnt work with 7 so i was trying to find an alternate. i had looked for anydvd on demonoid but a lot of the comments i got were sketchy so i decided against it. i told him to download the link you gave me above, and to get ashampoo, i heard that was really good too.

im not sure about his experience with 7, but i've been running 7 ultimate for about a year now and i love it. i've had a few problems with it crashing and what not, but im pretty sure its an isolated case. otherwise, its leaps and bounds better than vista, and much much better than xp. upgrade if you can, you wont regret it.
