I'm going to be buying a 360 either tonight or sometime this week so I can play it...

That's what I was planning on doing (played 1 but not 2) until enough people convinced me that it would be best if I played through the halo 2 campaign first before halo 3. They said that if I jump into Halo 3 that I will be pretty lost and not enjoy the game/storyline as much.

I played the first Halo with a friend and she had no mercy on me...so it is safe to say that i cant play worth a fuck!!! But I'm, ok with that!!!

no jordan its not, though halo3 is mad fun, it will never be as fun as halo1 because the replay value in all parts of the game arent there. multiplayer has it on lock, but singleplayer there are so many boundries compared to that of halo1 that after you beat the game and get the skulls,you're done. up until like last year, people were still finding out new things to do in halo 1, that is true replay value, and that is the key to halo 1's success past multiplayer
