Pabst Beer

Post by midnightangel »

Anyone ever drink it? My husband and I were partying last night with some friends and Brett and a couple of his friends thought it'd be "cool" to go buy a case of 1 pinters of Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer and I was already a little buzzed and I'd never tried it before (I'm a Miller drinker) so I grabbed like 3 cans and went steady on em. OH GOD I HURT THIS MORNING...He laughed at me thuis morning. It was real bad...

pabst is gross. It's pretty popular in Chicago, though.

I voted Miller cuz I'll usually just go for Miller Lite if it's cheap beer.
I prefer Goose Island(312, Honkers, summertime, or kilgubbin red ale) or Killians.

I've heard Killians is good but I've never tried it. Is it recommendable?

It's delicious. I didn't like beer until I tried Killians.
Although some people don't like the taste of red.

I voted Guinness, Smithwicks is made by Guinness and wicked good. Red Stripe is my favorite, would have voted for that if there was a choice for it.

This poll lacks New Belgium beers and New Castle, therefore I cannot vote.

Sparticus speaks the truth.

I drank some damn fine beer at Bonnaroo. Unfortunately, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is all I can find in Springfield. Sweetwater (I'm pretty sure that's the brewer) was amazing. Their Blue Ale hit the spot after Philly Experiment (and during, too!). I kind of miss that place.

I remember Tequiza being really good. I would have to say that I'll take anything watered down.

It really depends on the situation, how much you are spending and whatnot. if trying to get drunk i go for miller lite (always my first choice "great taste, less filling" i truely believe this!), if i cant afford that its keystone light. if going to enjoy some beer i have to say blue moon, sam adams (draft only), killians, yuengling. those beers are too much to get drunk off of, too filling. pabst is good cheap beer.

Miller Chill is the worst thing I think I have ever ingested. The only reason I tried it was cause it was for free at a bar because they were trying to get people to try it cause it was new.

I am a sucker for most all Pale Ales but my other favorites are Sam Adams Lager and Summer Ale, Negro Modelo, and the classic taste of an ice cold Coors Light.

It was Star Hill. That stuff is awesome. I got to drink it for free at Bonnaroo back in the artist area.
