The Offical Beer Thread
Re: hoegaarden
Fall is my favorite time for seasonal beers. I'm a sucker for pumpkin and spice ales. Gonna get a case of dogfish punkin this year on release in September when I go by the brewery.

Re: hoegaarden
I'm sure I spelled it wrong.
In the summer I like landshark, Tetley's, and if I could get it here Yuengling. One part of going to pow-wow I'm looking forward to is stopping in Atlanta and getting a case of Yuengling

Re: hoegaarden
fuck that man get some sweetwater. yuengling is good for sure, but if you're in atlanta get a local atlanta brew. almost everything sweetwater is exceptional except the blue, but i don't like fruit flavored beers. others love it though

Re: hoegaarden
because it is too sweet, it's blueberry flavored. their 420 pale ale and georgia brown are fantastic
as far as pasteurized lightish lagers go, yuengling is about as good as it gets, besides sam adams. also, yuengling light is one of, if not the, best light beer on the market. that said, i don't drink beer if I can avoid it. whiskey/bourbon shots or, if i'm in public, burb and gingys for me now. beer takes up too much stomach space, and it isn't part of my new healthy lifestyle

Re: The Offical Beer Thread
there's been a few brewerys that have popped up in the last 5 years. I like lucky bucket too. Havnen't been to lazlo's but I hear they're pretty popular. There are a lot of homebrewers in town as well that can whip up some decent brews.
