I like the way you think... that WOULD have been sweet -- but prolly too much of an investment for Volcano to make in it's biggest musical asset.SKAbatula wrote:...even more of a reason they should have used my idea:Vallon wrote:I don't think that many people have picked up on this yet...
In the 311 Interview thing from 311 day... SA described writing the song "Whiskey & Wine" on his acoustic guitar. He said that he got the name from staring at his guitar which was gold and reddish and to him it looked like whiskey and wine.
The two main colors on the DTOM cover are gold and red...
Coincidence? -- You decide.
A two-disc release called Whisky & Wine. The first cd called Whisky with all the rockers...and the other cd called Wine with the reggae vibes.
*rolls eyes* -- That would have been sweet though...
I think Foo just released a double album.. first disc is the hard rockers, and the second is all acoustic.
I've been hoping that one day (far from now)... 311 will make a cd totally of instrumental jams. Like 10/15 minutes of just jamming out and playing jazzy stuff... maybe throw some acoustic tracks on there. But I find myself really loving the jazzy interludes on Music & Grassroots... and I wish they'd incorporate that more into their live shows.
But then again... what do I know?
