I just got up for work and now its all up arghhh.. Ive listened to it through 85%... I can already say this album is amazing. Forget DTOM or Evolver this album stands up next to Soundsystem and Transistor ... amazing

I am really diggin' this album too. I get the From Chaos vibe from it. I'm glad to hear all the riffin' and rapping. It reminds me of good times.

after a full days worth of listenin, i love it and i don't at the same time. The first 5 songs and jackpot are really good. Golden sunlight gives me goosebumps. The harmonies in that song are amazing. As for the rest of the songs, theyre listenable but they kind of make me want to go to sleep. Overall 5 or 6 good songs is still better than the dissapointment that DTOM was. And as long as they like what they made, thats all that matters. It never really seemed like they were too proud of DTOM.

I listened in the car. It's very low quality. The cymbals especially sound crappy.

I can't wait to rip it myself on June 2nd and hear this drum sound that Nick was raving about.

It's still worth blasting it while going for a drive though. They're great driving tunes.

I'm with Bryant. Some are good, others are all like meh.

Some of the tracks are really surprising and are going to be awesome live. Others sound like Nick is trying to write and play for teenagers who watch MTV for their "shows". I just wish they would stop singing about love and relationships and go back to things that are interesting. I suppose that is just personal preference, though. All in all, the music kicks ass, but their vocals are well produced but the content is still complete cheese.

Judging from this record, if they put out an instrumental album, it would be hands down their best work as middle aged men.
