It's been awhile since we've had one of these.

(This one I posted with Snipe, Luke, and Jimy in mind. Some psych-soul for ya)
download: http://rapidshare.com/files/77772613/un ... _truth.rar" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(I couldn't find the actual cover of this record, but its the collaboration between Flying Lotus and Samiyam.)
download: http://rapidshare.com/files/186328950/S5.rar" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(Nice intro to some mean dubstep, if you've never checked it out. Fun sounds for the ears, nothing more.)

+1 for Maggot Brain.
Can't you guys at least post the band/album name for the ones that don't have it written legibly on the cover?

I've been listening to the http://www.pitchforkmedia.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; top tracks lists for 2008, 2007, and 2006 all together. There's so many good songs.

It's pretttty good. I don't like it as much as her first couple of EPs and singles, but it's much better than her Public Warning thing and has some pretty nice tracks.Jorge wrote:Thanks for reminding me about that new SOV!Shiny wrote:Kool Keith - Tashan Dorrsett

After my first listen, "Pennies" is the only track I want to listen to again.Shiny wrote:It's pretttty good. You really can't beat that early SOV. She was so raw and gritty. Now she is just another artist trying to sell records in the US. Public Warning really was the worst thing to happen to her. I mean, because of that, she scored a fluke top spot on TRL, had to tour non-stop, and had to deal with the bullshit swagger behind her name for being the first female and foreign artist to sign to Def Jam. Worst. Idea. Ever.
Those neighbors are still disturbed, at least. (I can't help but fiddle with the volume.)
Re: What are you digging lately?
between the buried and me - colors
protest the hero - kezia (just started to digest it after listening to fortress 50 times)
bleed the sky - murder the dance
Kill switch engage - as daylight dies
deftones - around the fur (i've never really liked em for some reason, but this album is changing my mind every time i listen to it)
goin thru a metal stage
Don't have much time to listen to music anymore cuz im always listenin to classical shit when im studying. I get way too absorbed in other music and never get shit done.
