We had it all customized with all our neat features that is appears we're never going to get back...

I hate to admit it but I'm sorry I ever wished for phpbb3 in the first place!!! It sucks!

I miss font colors, status changes, mouse-over topic text, alien head icons, the cool TB logo, and MILLENIUM FALCON!


I know I was a big advocator of upgrading, but I feel like it was more of a downgrade in the end... Like we traded our suped up, modded, and pimped out phpbb2 for a bare-bones, run-of-the-mill phpbb3.

Anyone else agree?

I guess the lesson is to be careful what you wish for, or maybe to do research first. If we went back to phpbb2, we would lose any posts that have happened since the upgrade.

I believe that in time, all of the customizations that we had will be available again for phpbb3. I could figure out how to code them myself, but that would take lots of time that I don't have.
