i mean, there's a real good reason why the bucs wanted plummer. maybe it's because gradkowski sucked and simms is too much of a risk. plummer could have easily gotten that starting job.

Jeff Garcia just signed with Tamba Bay... Plummer didnt want to go to a team where he had to compete for the job

Plummer was done in Denver when Cutler showed up, its prob nice to Retire if you can without any major injuries.

yeah, i know. i read the story.

so if you had an awesome record with a team (40-19) and led them to the playoffs several times; you have one bad year and your coach benches you (which was fucking stupid) you'd rather retire than compete (which is what you are paid to do) for a job for a shit team, which is what tampa is now, where you'd probably dominate. garcia is going to start fine i'm sure but everybody is going to beat this story to death during preseason.
