there just isnt enough coverage here for me to get into it. i can appreciate good goals and I love watching the world cup, but its just not on enough for me to learn all the players, teams, or even leagues really.

Shit...name one place other than the U.S. where Soccer isn't a big deal. Americans are the only ignorant ones who choose not to follow/appreciate the sport (mainly because all we have here is MLS)....everywhere else, it's a big part of culture~

i think its a pretty big part of our culture, hence the phrase "soccer mom". soccer is a huge thing for familys and their kids...it just tends to end later on cause i think parents want their kids to be good and maybe go pro deep in the back of their head so they go into football or basketball or some shit. that or since the other sports are more popular the kids feel that they should go into other sports cause other kids go into it, unless they're really good at soccer

Just watched one of the most kick ass games in a longggg time!!!
Chelsea vs. Liverpool.....
Liverpool went up 2-0 during the first half (awesome free kick and PK).

Then, Chelsea came out of the tunnel and scored 3 amazing goals just like that to put them up 3-2!!

AND THEN. Liverpool scored back-to-back goals and went up 4-3!!!!

AND THEN AGAIN, with a few minutes left, Chelsea tied it up at 4-4!

It was one of the best halves I've ever seen, and it wasn't sloppy play either, it was just straght up amazing football!
Drogba, Anelka and Lampard are a deadly trio!!!!
Chelsea advanced with the tie and faces Barcelona in two weeks, which I can't wait to watch!!! Should be another amazing match!!

Kick ass! Fucking Barca scored in the 93rd minute to tie it 1-1 and advance!! Great boot by Iniesta. Although, Chelsea's goal was pretty badass itself!
