nfl draft

Post by 311junkee »

everyone content with their teams decisions?

I'd have to say I am even though we didnt gt a pick til the 4th round. We got Martin Rucker, TE from MU tigers. He's a big boy and a good choice considering heiden just had back surgery. Interested to see what he can do on the field

oh yeah the potential is there. and he seems like a nice guy, exactly what we need as the face of the organization, so if he works out, itll work out really well. i just think we should have got glenn dorsey, waited to see if vick would be out another year and how much he had regressed in prison, then if he wasnt gonna work take another rebuilding year, becuase i mean were not gonna be good nexts year either probably, and even if worst came to worst, we could still trade michael vick. but whats done is done

Being able to watch him game for game and being BC fan I was able to follow him. I would say he is very much like a Brett Favre in speed, intelligence, and arm strength, with what I think to be better accuracy. He could have came out the year before and made an impact on a team, but now he has another year under his belt, which only makes him better. It was an amazing pickup for the Falcons.

I'm pretty satisfied with the Saints' picks. We got what we needed, and whatever else was a priority we got through experience in free agency & trades. I'm thinking Sedrick Ellis and Glen Dorsey will have impressive years (6-9 sacks tops). I'm suprised mostly that we got a kicker in like the 6 round, although we re-signed Gramatica to another year, this guy Taylor Melhaff (sp.) will be our next kicker in the following season.

Agreed. :D
they def had the best draft IMO...they are gonna be tough to compete with...although i think we'll beat em once.

and the saints...with duece mcally comin back their offense is gonna be 1 million times better...i just hope both his knees hold out all season. Ellis is gonna be a beast. I like that mofo as much as dorsey if not more. Can't wait to watch the saints play this year

HOWEVER....my brownies will be representin' the afc in the superbowl ladies...you fuckin know it

The Browns were the best team not in the playoffs last year by far. Actually they were better than some of the teams in the playoffs.
