something cool

Post by KyleRayner »

well, theres probably 2 reasons you won't care about this, its lacrosse, and its women's lacrosse, but its still pretty sweet.

my girlfriend was nominated for the Tewaaraton Award, which is the lacrosse equivalent of the Heisman trophy basically

http://www.tewaaraton.com/home/178684.html

her being Renna, Hilary on that list. She's pretty ill, was ivy league defender of the week twice, shut down the nation's leading scorer who averages 6 goals a game to 0. yeah its a woman's sport, but since i got to all the games ive started to be able to get into it, anywho, its pretty cool

I've excelled in every sport I've ever been in except lacrosse. No matter how great of an athlete you are, lacrosse is something that takes years of practice just to even become exceptional.

i was considering playin in college so I read this book about it my senior year...it said that 75% of all americans in college never picked up a stick until they got into college...pretty interesting...dunno how true it is but it made it sound pretty easy

i've also heard a lot of colleges try to recuit ex football and hockey players

my team in high school was basically just allt he football players who wanted to hit people in the off season, only this time they got a stick to do it with too. poor fundamentals but MUCH more entertaining than the "good" lacrosse played in college and the pro league. nothing like watching a guy get speared with a stick to lead the way

lol no that is the least true statement I've heard in a long time.

edit: unless that book was written in 1775
