Too bad the referee made so many mistakes on the US matches; however, the Ghana game was awesome. The usual underdog strategy didn't work with them, because it's a team with a lot of stamina. Oh well.

I still think these games are rigged.

i wanted netherlands to win cause they beat brazil and if you beat my team then you deserve to win it. the game was sloppy as fuck. 14 cards? come on. netherlands got dicked over so much in the card relm. that ref was way too card happy. overall, pretty shitty game. but spain did a decent job getting there so i guess they deserved it

Well, Webb was the very same referee that got Italy out because of a wrong offside and a nulled goal, so I was expcecting the worse. And indeed, we got it. Spain's goal came from not noticing the last play was a corner because the ball hit a Spanish defense player. Casillas got the ball, and it ended up in the goal.
