Lady in the Water..........

Post by Jordan311 »

... This movie looks like it's going to be...interesting...

Here's the trailer.
http://imdb.com/title/tt0452637/trailer ... 27591-10-2

It's the new M. Night Shamalyan(or whoever) movie. The same guy who did the Village/6th sense/etc.

Anyone have any thoughts? I'll probably go see it when it comes out. It looks intriguing.

Well I'm a huge fan of M Night Shamalyn.

The Village was amazing, the plot twist was totally unexpected, anyone who hated it can go to hell. Genius.

Signs was also an amazing movie. I gotta see this movie. Although the trailer looks terrible, but what recent movie trailer is good?

Yeah, you should. I agree with Alex, the Village RULED. Best ending in a movie ever.

The Village was an OK movie.
The ending, in all actuality, did blow. But other than that it was decent.

We are so soul mates.

And Jordan what did you not like about the ending. It's hard not to spoil it, but if you must give a warning.

But I just believe like it all made sense, it brought so much more depth in the plot and it just made you think.

Yeah Jordan, you just didn't like the ending because it was painful when your mind was blown. :!:

lol. I just thought it was silly as hell. That's all.
As did most people.
I'll agree it was creative and unexpected. It could have been worse. But it was pretty cheesy shit.

Why are you arguing, Alex?

It's obvious that lots of people didn't like the ending.

Please re-read my post. I said "it was creative and unexpected."
I never said it was unoriginal.
I said it was silly and cheesy.
End of conversation.

No no no you took me wrong. I was just asking if other movies did that kind of a plot twist before, becuase I want to see some more movies with those crazy plot twists. I totally respect your opinion.

Shiny, have you seen Old Boy? Best plot twist ever.

Well M Night Shamalan's movies all kinda have that signature plot twist at the end.
The Village's was original and all, but I didn't like how it completely took you out of the setting that the entire movie had established and kinda turned it into a joke. Especially with the retard in the suit  that was too much.

I almost had a vibe after the movie that many people were expecting alot more scary elements in the movie. Because the trailers for the film had that kind of suspense.

I know Adrian's character had some mental problems, but I find it strange that he had that kind of mentality to try and prevent the blind girl from leaving by wearing the costume.

I've never seen it. Is it like Filter + The Village Ending?

The plot twist in the movie is insane. You will be baffled by it.

They are making one with English actors, but it won't be anything like the one out now.

It's in another language, but you can dub it.

the village is awesome. people who say they hate it usually cant tell you why, other than 'it sucks'. i thought it was great, even tho i watched the movie already knowing its plot twist.
