Lady in the Water..........
... This movie looks like it's going to be...interesting...
Here's the trailer.
http://imdb.com/title/tt0452637/trailer ... 27591-10-2
It's the new M. Night Shamalyan(or whoever) movie. The same guy who did the Village/6th sense/etc.
Anyone have any thoughts? I'll probably go see it when it comes out. It looks intriguing.

We are so soul mates.Shiny wrote:Yeah, you should. I agree with Alex, the Village RULED. Best ending in a movie ever.
And Jordan what did you not like about the ending. It's hard not to spoil it, but if you must give a warning.
But I just believe like it all made sense, it brought so much more depth in the plot and it just made you think.

Well M Night Shamalan's movies all kinda have that signature plot twist at the end.
The Village's was original and all, but I didn't like how it completely took you out of the setting that the entire movie had established and kinda turned it into a joke. Especially with the retard in the suit that was too much.

I almost had a vibe after the movie that many people were expecting alot more scary elements in the movie. Because the trailers for the film had that kind of suspense.
I know Adrian's character had some mental problems, but I find it strange that he had that kind of mentality to try and prevent the blind girl from leaving by wearing the costume.

I've never seen it. Is it like Filter + The Village Ending?Alex wrote:No no no you took me wrong. I was just asking if other movies did that kind of a plot twist before, becuase I want to see some more movies with those crazy plot twists. I totally respect your opinion.
Shiny, have you seen Old Boy? Best plot twist ever.

the village is awesome. people who say they hate it usually cant tell you why, other than 'it sucks'. i thought it was great, even tho i watched the movie already knowing its plot twist.
