The review of this movie didn't disappoint though. Right on par.

Re: Dumb & Dumber To
I thought it was hilarious which really surprised me because the previews weren't funny. I laughed so much I was in tears.

I laughed when Lloyd threw a banana peel in the coffin. But I still like the first more because it didn't rely as heavilly on slapstick humor. It made you believe 2 such idiots could actually exist. My disappointment is comparable to when I saw Anchorman 2.

Whoa was a 20 year old movie from your childhood who created a moneygrab sequel not as funny as the original? Huffpo needs to hear about this.

Were anchorman 2 and DnDto the only two sequels you saw?bcolephases wrote:I laughed when Lloyd threw a banana peel in the coffin. No I've seen many sequels, like Ace Ventura 2 that one was pretty good but then again it didn't take 20 years to make it.dj3stripes wrote:Were anchorman 2 and DnDto the only two sequels you saw?bcolephases wrote:I laughed when Lloyd threw a banana peel in the coffin. If Anchorman was an A, anchorman 2 was a B. It wold have been a fantastic stand-alone comedy, but it had to chance of living up to the original.bcolephases wrote:I laughed when Lloyd threw a banana peel in the coffin. If Dumb and Dumber were an A, 'to' would be a D-. It was boring. The humor wasn't fresh, the situation wasn't funny, nothing worked. They didn't even seem like the same characters to me. I think I laughed ONCE when Loyd said, "You're bad!" like he was 5 years old. I'm not sure why I laughed at that.
