kinda went on a separate tangent in a reply to jimmy on the summer movies thread but how fuckin awesome is FX right now. If I could take parks and rec, community, and boardwalk empire and throw them on FX, i wouldn't need any other channel.

to me, the first season has hilarity throughout but it didn't hit it's stride until about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way through.
i personally love the show because it finds humor in everything from incredibly awkward(being punked out by a high schooler on a date with a chick) to downright dirty and mean(anytime he sees a medical specialist, some of the stand-up bits) to drug humor(the entire episode about pot just killed it) to some touching moments about his kids and being a father.
really disappointed i can't watch the second season as it airs but i think my buddy is recording it with dvr so i can come over once every week or two and catch up.

eh, i'd leave the hbo shows on hbo. i like my shit uncensored. but yea fx is pretty dope right now. usa is too actually, oddly enough. that new show suits is pretty boss, law and order svu re-runs, white color, royal pains, burn notice. i dont watch all of them, but i know a lot of people who do.
