the new LOST thread

i was barely sad. i'm so detached from the characters. the story is still fantastic though.

couldn't care less bout jin and sun. sucks that sayid is done though.

i've been seeing tons of mixed feelings on this episode, which means the writers accomplished something because it is sparking tons of conversations. I personally thought it was an awesome episode, just as I have enjoyed every single episode of LOST. it is their story and i'm just along for the ride.

I think people were thrown off without having the main characters and everyone expected millions of answers with some mind blowing revelations.

But in my opinion, this episode was to set up this final run, we needed to know how this started so they can start connecting everything and we were handed a bunch of answers.

i kinda think the mom was a smoke monster and when you go in that hole the light gets taken out of you and you become one of the smoke monsters and if it were to get out everyone would become one. I kinda think Desmond is going to be the only one who can go in there without turning into one. But who knows

i also kinda think they are all just stuck in a big game and jacob needs to start making his own rules just like the MIB kid said when they were playing that game.

I think people will like this episode a bunch more once they see what comes next and how it connects back (at least i hope)
