Assuming you don't have 1.5, you would need to downgrade to 1.5, then upgrade to an Open Edition firmware. (3.03 OE-C, 3.10 OE-A, whatev.)

Then you download emulators on to it. :)

For PS1 games you need to "acquire" ISOs and convert them to EBOOTs.

You can find a bunch of tutorials on sites like psp-vault.com, psp-hacks.com, or whatever you can find. I jumped into this a few weeks ago with absolutely NO knowledge on how to go about doing it, but I eventually just figured it all out by reading sites like that. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. (I'll probably just point you in the direction of another website but whatever works, right?)


And yes, I love Metal Gear. Portable Ops was the first game I bought and I love it.
