First off, no hating. I saw her at my Va shows and bought a ticket from her for a friend at the VB show.
Hey Jason! It was nice meeting you too. Sorry I couldn't hang around longer, but taping keeps me on a semi tight schedule (especially when I decide to go to so many shows in such a short time frame... and when I do all the driving in between shows by myself). Nice posts btw... lol I wish I had one of those road signs. And that's awesome to see you got so many of the setlists... I have one or two from random shows.

As far as the recordings go, I'm so far behind schedule with everything 311 related (my site and my recordings), I can't give you a date or an estimated date as I don't want to disappoint. I do intend to release the recordings and I eventually will, but as always, work and some personal things take priority over the recordings I make. You might hear from others that I say that all the time, but believe me, playing catch up all the time is no fun (I've been trying to get some things on track for a while now and it's really hard to get ahead when more and more work gets piled onto your shoulders). If I had the time to tend to my recordings right after I recorded them, I would, but that's unfortunately not the case.

And unfortunately many people don't understand that I have a life outside 311. I know you do, but I already saw people bashing me on the BB about "hording" the recordings (which I'm not). I didn't reply b/c I honestly don't have the time to deal with the people who don't understand that I'm in no way obligated to get the shows out in x amount of time. A fellow taper named Geordy had my back within that "Chrissy bashing" post, and he said that some tapers don't release their shows until they have time to go through them, fix them up a little, and cut the tracks. He's dead on with that statement b/c I don't like releasing shows until I'm comfortable doing so. Someone else criticized some of my past recordings and said they sounded like crap. They definitely aren't the best sounding recordings, but I'd consider them semi-decent... and, as many tapers / fans would agree, a recording is better than no recording. What people fail to realize is that those recordings were made years ago, with completely different equipment and different mic placement and when I was less experienced in the taping world. Those people also fail to realize that I have 2.5 hours of commuting time each work day and then work about 50 hours a week by a computer (lol so the last thing I want to do when I get home is work on a pc). I also have a bunch of things going on at the moment and other things that have been going on for quite some time that frankly need my attention.

So... I can't say when the recordings will be posted, but they will be in time. I have recordings from this tour, last fall tour, and maybe one or two from last summer that I will release when the time is right. I have a list of people I need to get back to about specific recordings (tributes for friends who have passed, engagements, etc) and I won't forget about them, as I won't forget about you and the other 311 fans who appreciate what tapers do.

Thank you for your patience, as I definitely appreciate fans who don't get on my case about this. And thanks again for helping me sell that extra VA Beach ticket. It was definitely awesome meeting some fellow hardcore 311 fans!

Take care,
Chrissy

I'll wait for the vault. I really don't believe this "I don't have time" bullshit. I know single moms with two full-time jobs, a couple of kids, and still find time to go out a couple nights a week. :?

Yeah the vault stuff should be soundboard quality.

She's what been taping since last year and hasn't released anything? She has every right to release it when she wants, maybe it's jst bad excuses..

They are her bootlegs so she can do whatever she wants with them. However, what I never get is she has all this time to see 5+ shows a tour and most likely take off from work and what not but yet doesn't have an hour or two to work on a show recording.

i think we all know with the amount of shows she goes to there is no way she is working 50+ hours/week at work while driving 2 1/2 hours there.

What does she not sleep?

Whatever though she can do whatever she wants.

Hey y2k do you know if she has 311 day 2006? i saw her walking to the line with her mic but i dunno if she got in with it

No i didnt ask her about it. I thought they would have stopped recorders at the door for 311 Day.
I do know she lives in New Jersey and works in Philly. So i can understand the drive.
