8/16 is the release date and we pushed it back so we could give volcano a fighting chance to let people know that it's out. And this will be the first time that we'll be out playing new songs for weeks before the new album is out.

Oh well, Dane Cook's CD is still coming out on July 26th, so at least us Dane Cook fans have something to look forward to still on that day. I was worried about that...cause it was like..."Oh no...two CDs that I really can't wait for are going to be competing over my CD player on that day, what ever shall I do?" but now 311 gets a day to itself. Ahhh.

yes fighting chance, as some aren't aware making music is not just a hobby but a business for most bands. with business comes money, and let's face it with the industry as it is, and i'm not implying a huge media frenzy, artists need exposure, especially GOOD artists.
