because I really really don't. I've tried to give it a chance so many times and I end up biting my lip in front of other people when I play DTOM in the car. It's like they are trying to make a cooler version of galaxy(not possible)/ hydroponic and failing miserably and end up sounding cliche. I mean it's not even subtle like seems uncertain it's like "when did our leaders become bottom feeders" ugh garbage. But thats just me.

I definitely love it.
I think I liked it more as an instrumental back when it was just a demo, but it's one of my favorites off of the album.

Solar Flare is AMAZING Live. I remember the first video that came out for the song, and it blew me away. Especially during the chorus...ohhhh yeah.

If anyone has that video from 2005 I would love it.

Shit I'd love to see more DTOM live actually. Getting Through To Her was the fucking bomb at Santa Cruz in 05. And Whiskey and Wine sounds so good to live.

I definitely preferred the demo, chad just sounded way better, more raw or something but I do like the finished track. Not my fav on the album but more than listenable

i'm pretty sure nick programmed the drums for the solar demos.

the chorus isn't bad.. the music, that is.

Pretty much any song at a 311 concert off of DTOM is a time for me to piss, maybe with the exception of there's always an excuse when you need one - When I go to 5 shows on one tour it's very easy to go to the bathroom while 311 is playing. I used to not leave until the show was over, but after seeing them alot its boring hearing the same shitty songs off DTOM. I also will make a break for the john when amber or love song gets played...
