Less Production = Good

I think From Chaos-Evolver-DTOM are simply over produced like the demo of don't tread on me sounds so much more raw and the bass line is so strong w/ strong drums... i hate how it sounds after it runs through production...i like the new lyrics but they try to hard to get their songs radio friendly now... SS was the last album that was not over produced

Transistor was experimental and had a lot production but in a good way

i kinda thought that DTOM sounded under produced and they tried to make it sound as close to live as possible.

I remember Nick saying they recorded DTOM with a little bit of "dirt". I personally think DTOM's production is terrible. Tim's guitar has NO crunch to it all. The intro to TLYS comes in with no boom whatsoever. Everything is so watered down.
