what do you guys think? They were a fun listen, but I wouldn't exactly put them in my regular rotation.

SA's voice sounds pretty damn good on Self Esteem. And offspring's version of Down was a surprisingly unique twist on the track

idk I like that offspring put more of their own spin on Down. 311 just did a pretty accurate version of Self Esteem but at a lower tempo and with a bit of reggae at the beginning. some of the auto-tuned harmonies towards the end of Self Esteem just sounded kinda off.

Both of them are pretty decent and a fun listen 1 or 2 times, but I'm not about to add them to my spotify mix or anything.

I don't think it's "edge." If anything, it's hilarious! I try not to take bands like that too seriously. He did scream on a Pantera album I kind of like though.

can't say i'm familiar with their catalogue of work. I always just thought it was a joke band with a handful of joke songs. Didn't realize they were a real band with like full albums and stuff.

I think it show 311's creativity and I look forward to new music in the future.
