So I received some login credentials to stream the session via direct TV's website.

Any suggestions for PC programs to rip the stream to a high quality video file?

tried using the software Replay Video Capture which has worked for me in the past, but it causes a security error and the stream is stopped. Sounds way over compressed/real audio quality too, so not sure I'd want to capture it..

Well, back to the drawing board.

Sounds like we need to record the live stream direct from a DVR box.

yup preferably hdmi out to a capture card
