Is Nick A Control Freak??? Why Doesn't S.A. Have More Songs?

I recently posted a thread in where I ranked the members of 311 from the favorite to least favorite, among members of this forum, based on what I had seen from the members of this forum. Than Jordan311 made a post that made me reconsider putting Nick as the least favorite, he basically said that he thought that Nick gets the most shit because he is the leader of the band. I thought that most people didn't like Nick because they thought he was a control freak, I probably thought this because this is my reasoning for not liking Nick, because, I would have loved to have more songs where S.A. is the sole vocalist, and I always thought the reason that we haven't gotten many S.A. only songs was that Nick was a control freak. The debut of Ghostwolf further made me think this way, as after Ghostwolf it should be apparent that the reason S.A. hasn't had more exclusive songs couldn't be that he didn't like to write songs or was a bad writer, as he wrote all the songs on 'Lunar Halos'.

So I am wondering if you all think I am right, or have a different theory, about why S.A. has so few songs where he is the only vocalist???

Okay, I said that S.A. had so few songs, not that he didn't have any. I am aware he has quite a few on 'Don't Tread On Me' and has two on 'Transistor', but that is like 10 percent of their catalog maximum. I just wish there was a bare minimum of one S.A. song on every single album. I mean is that too much to ask for, one S.A. song per album and than Nick can have the other ten or so?

Either one of them would suck donkey cock as solo artists (see: ghostwolf). They are meant to be a "team" with 311. Thus why DTOM was hated by fans at first....But I secretly love it.

logosteel: Yeah, granted DTOM isn't exactly that great, but, "Galaxy" and "The Continuous Life" are awesome, and are two of my favorite songs in all of 311's catalog.
