Did any of you guys go out for Record Day? If so did you get the 311 vinyls? I struck out on Music and the remix album
But we went to 5 different places and my wife and I scored a lot of awesome records. I picked up a couple of Paul Simon albums and an awesome copy of Exodus by Bob Marley. Plus my wife found some treasures too. Did any of you guys go or get anything good?

Record Day!
yeahhhh boy. bwahaha.
Re: Record Day!
Music is most likely just staying on vinyl.. only the initial pressing was record store day-only. some other bands did the same thing and judging by the *official* RSD list that shows the number of pressings, etc.. Music isn't limited

Re: Record Day!
I received my Music and Grassroots records yesterday and played them yesterday and today. They sound great! I wonder if they digitally remastered the albums so they can also eventually re-release them on CD and mp3? Music, Grassroots and Blue 20th anniversary edition releases starting next year maybe? They NEED remastered!

Re: Record Day!
For those of you that don't have it, the Grassroots record has a label that says (with their text colors):
"Grassroots remains 311's finest moment artistically, and listeners of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, and Rage Against the Machine will find this an indispensable addition to their music collections."
I'm not disputing this album being "311's finest moment artistically", but I am surprised that Sony put such a bold proclamation on the band's 2nd of 10 major releases when they have so many more current releases to sell too. And I'm sure that Nick (sadly) doesn't feel that way because their sound has 'matured' artistically since then.
And I think listeners of 311 will also "find this an indispensable addition to their music collections".
