Impressive (is that bits or Bytes?), but not a chance. I'm nowhere near my cap. Averaging 110 kB/s according to my client.

Also I'm only connecting to 1 of 2 seeds and 2 of 8 peers. My ports are forwarded, and I've even tried disabling encryption to no avail.

I'm in no rush, just thought I'd throw that server idea out there. Not sure if it's possible.
Once a few of us initial seeders have it in full though, it'll be much faster for the rest, so the point will likely be moot tomorrow.

having a server "seed" would defeat the purpose of torrenting, would it not? Just give it time. If you know a server that can host 200gigs to ? people I'd be all for it

Thanks for releasing these on torrent. I'm glad my suggestion is finally coming to fruition (2 years later), and I'll keep seeding for a while on this one as promised (2.2+ ratio already), but next time I hope we can be made aware what we're in for.

In the future, could we maybe get a few screen caps and an audio sample? I think that would be reasonable so we know if it's worth the download. Some of us are past the stage of collecting for collecting's sake..

i personally don't care if it's a waste of anybody's time. why would i? i certainly gain nothing by uploading the thing to 1 or 2 places before posting to the forum. if some of you are past the stage of collecting for collecting's sake, then help out (aside from giving suggestions that take years to implement) and lead with an example or two.

I've stated time and time again, I wanted this to be a collaborative/community involved project. barking out suggestions and demands wasn't what I had in mind.

in short, if you want something different other than the way it is now, do something! for the time being, make some screen caps and audio samples. give some feedback. i mean "Don't get too excited.. A 6 V 8" really doesn't do much in the way of letting people know "what they're in for".

I don't think this guy actually thought he was providing any kind of helpful feedback. And then to suggest that you spend all this time making a sample? I wouldn't be too worried about wasting any of "greenmonkey"'s time.

Thanks for these uploads man, it's fine for me. I'm not "hard up" on quality, if it's viewable and I can hear it, there is nothing wrong with it. People should just appreciate what they can get, and just post a review, not correct other peoples kindness. Thanks again!

I appreciate the time you're taking to implement this shane, and I have done all I can on my part to keep the love flowing. I don't think I was being rude or unreasonable... A screencap takes less time to do than to make the torrent itself.

It's understood that not every single bootleg will be a knockout, and of course we should all be happy and grateful that we're getting to see these at all. It's just nice to know what we're in for so we can discern if it's worth the time and bandwidth.. especially for people with slow connections. That's why I gave MY personal review, since nobody else seems to be doing so. If seeding at max speed and providing a critical review are not helpful enough for this community, I will refrain from doing so in the future.

yeah, I was afraid that you'd read into what I said wrong. the point I was making is this: I'm putting what I want into this, if it's to get any better or become different it'll take others to do so. Dave puts together the .torrent files and has the tracker stuff worked out. I'm more than happy to let somebody/everybody do the screencap/audio samples and post them. I never thought you didn't appreciate it, I know you do and it's cool. I personally like this show. It'd be pretty kick-ass to have a section with nothing but the boots, some samples, and honest feedback on them instead of opinions, suggestions on how we do things, and overall gripes.

I'll work with alex and try to recruit some help for these things and greenmonkey is on the top of my list for creating samples before people download them.
