08-08-2011 DVD Bootleg of the week 1993-11-06

So I'm going to try doing a show of the week type of thing where I've been given webspace by alex to upload a boot every week or so. What I'd love to have happen is to have it available for everybody to grab and if somebody would take the reins and throw it on a torrent site to seed , then we'd have plenty of seeders out there to help those out who didn't get it while it was up on TB.com

Please feel free to post comments about the set list, audio/video quality, and over all opinions of the show to help others determine if it's worth going after or not. This is an ISO file that can be burned to a DVD+-R to be played back on a settop dvd player, or you can load it using VLC media player and watch on your computer. Enjoy.

I would've never guessed in a million years that Tim and Nick ever traded off on the guitar solo for "Lose".

nick always plays the first part of the solo in "lose" then tim takes over. same with rock on.

I just think it's awesome to see them play for a tiny audience. Can you imagine being able to jump up on stage if you felt like it? Neither the band nor the bouncer really cared, he just pushed the guy off the stage haha (which would be a lawsuit today). I think it's great that the cameraman spent so much time zoomed out. I like seeing everyone at once, not just a ton of super closeups of Nick's face or Tim's hand strumming, which a ton of videos have. I'm not sure if it was just VLC but the video defaulted to superwidescreen, so I put it back to 4:3 ratio.

The audio quality is also pretty damn solid which I consider to be the most important aspect.

Personally, I'd love to see a show from 97-99; something with a solid amount of SS or Transistor would be great.

It was awesome to see them playing at this era of their career.

They weren't nearly as confident as they are now and they are all more or less just standing there. To be honest though, I thought "Welcome" was kind of boring because of this fact.
