Screen cap of 311 Day 2010
Screen cap of 311 Day 2010
Did anyone else happen to screen cap the live WWW feed?
I was in section 113, row G ... then came home & capped it myself, but am interested if anyone else did it too, & maybe did a better job.
My file size is just over 15GB, and is .mpeg. I fit it on 3 DVDs with all chapters (60 songs) very nicely, and one blu-ray disc with room for more ...
Anything anyone cares to share would be greatly appreciated ...

Zeke, A lot of people are still looking for this. Would you be able to upload it to demonoid? I would like to check out the chapters etc....

the few people i've given it to will not post it to torrents due to copyrights or they don't know how.

I've been wondering/looking for this torrent since about a week after the show!
If you want to send it to me, I can upload it to demonoid immediately.dj3stripes wrote:the few people i've given it to will not post it to torrents due to copyrights or they don't know how.

@SoundSalad: What would be the easiest way for you to accept a 15GB file? I am extremely flexible ...
Re: Screen cap of 311 Day 2010
@SoundSalad: I think it would be easier to send it as a 15GB file, and let you do whatever it is that you want to with it, etc.
Also, I do not know what others have experienced, but the first 8 minutes of the show (crowd, stage, "Jackpot", etc.), the volume is extremely low ... almost to the point of being poor. But then it kicks in, and there is nothing like it in the world!

@311chaos: It is funny you mention Demonoid. That site is pretty much the ONLY "place" I go for my needs ...

Re: Screen cap of 311 Day 2010
yeah no need for more than 4.3GB at all...........
Re: Screen cap of 311 Day 2010
I agree for the most part, but as I experienced myself if you re-encode it then it looks like shit. I would gladly take the 15gb file, but again it is not easy to transfer a 15gb file around without someone having some hosting space. The other way would be to put it up on demonoid and let it seed......dj3stripes wrote:yeah no need for more than 4.3GB at all...........

Re: Screen cap of 311 Day 2010
watching the 4.15gig file with vlc and it looks just fine. gotta realize it wasn't sourced as mpeg or even avi, it's a flash file.............
Re: Screen cap of 311 Day 2010
That 4gb flv sounds pretty damn tempting right now. Been trying to hunt this down. Found some single song mov files in an old thread, but only half of them are still live. Besides they aren't really worth the filesize in terms of quality.

I recorded it straight live from the feed, and have a great set. The dude above is right, the first few minutes are all fucked up, but then it is pretty sweet. I am willing to trade if anyone has offers, I have two references that I gave out discs to on the boat fwiw.

Hmm... If you can upload it somewhere, that would be easiest. Do you have or know of any cloud service to use? What are the options?zeke wrote:@SoundSalad: What would be the easiest way for you to accept a 15GB file? I am extremely flexible ...
If you sign up at 4shared.com, you get free 10gb and then when you verify your email address you get 5gb more! I'd say that's probably the easiest.
