Anyone else one of the first 250 to order a combo?

Package came this morning, tore that shit open real fast and sure enough my poster was hand-signed from the band!!

Anyone else get lucky too? I figured there was no way I was one of the first 250 to pre-order a package, guess I was wrong.

Also, the vinyl record came with another CD? I opened it up and was like WTF - I have 2 UP cd's now.

thats a hefty price to pay when you have a good chance of having them sign stuff pre-show if u get there really early

ive had the shittiest luck with that. and i dont really want to carry it around with me the entire time (or are you allowed to leave and come back?). so if i wanted to do that this year what are the tips on doing it. where do i go? who do i have to talk to? how early do i have to go?

The shows I usually attend are in NJ or PA. I have never met them at the Holmdel venue in NJ, but I have met them at the House of Blues and Borgata Casino in NJ. The Borgata was the greatest f-ing thing ever. 311 personally told security that the first 30 people were entitled to VIP section of the venue, so we got our own wristbands and private roped off section directly in front of them. After the show, they personally came out to meet everyone in the VIP area because we had our own entrance and exit.

For Philly, the heinous venue of Festival Pier that I absolutely despise because security is shit and the majority of assholes that show up at 6pm try to cut in the front of the line. That fact aside, I usually get down to Festival Pier around 11:30a-12:30pm and camp out right in front of the gate. We have a whole posse of people by 3pm, my friends and I bring coolers of food, portable BBQ grill and of course 311 music to keep playing all day. Almost every time (for at least the past 5-6 years, miT, P-Nut, and SA) have hopped over the fence to take pictures and sign autographs with us on the street. For example, this was p-Nut and I from last July's show at Festival Pier. He hopped the fence to talk with us and he even ate lunch with us out on the street.



I dont know how other venues are, but I have had great luck with the Philly and NJ shows just by getting there early.
