They should have added:

10. Go pay 300 dollars to meet the band!

and

11. Go to the club and see Nick act like a tool on stage singing Karaoke to his own songs!

Its pretty standard e-marketing really...pretty cheesy and weak, but you have to expect this for signing up for "official" 311 fan club

i'll start:

1) Lower ticket prices. Sure, $50 doesn't SEEM like much, but it is. You're not just paying for the $50 ticket. A few years ago (read: two), tickets were $25-$30 but came out to $45-$50 after charges. Now with the $50 face value, the "convenience" charge makes it about $65/ticket. That's ridiculous, especially for a band that plays the same sets every night for years at a time. Which brings me to #2...

2) CHANGE UP YOUR SETS. LESS SINGLES, MORE JAMS.

play more dub and only play the few hits (amber, creatures, beautiful disaster, down) and play the rest of the show full of random songs.

don't make fans buy 3 versions of your cd just to hear 2 extra songs that aren't really worth 10 dollars apiece.

let fans vote on setlists. let the old school fans pick which song gets dedicated to them at each show.

release the live show archive .. unless they're engineering demand until it's high enough so they can charge out the ass....

donate meet & greet easy money to charity and greet your adoring fans with open arms instead of charging them out the ass
