was it a paid performance? cause i didnt see it on their calender (though i just skimmed april) or was it just he was at a club and they knew he was there so they asked him to do it and he obliged. if its the ladder of the two then that was really awesome of him to do. if it was a paid performance, i cant say i wouldnt do the same given the situation, and i dont really think its that blasphemous, but i do see how it can be taken badly and part of me doesnt like him performing without 311

Meh, I can see why people are worked up over this or think it's lame, but it's mostly the same people who dis anything they do now-a-days, which is kind of lame too...and old.

I think it would be pretty cool to be at a club in vegas with hex singin' some 311 though.

dude, his stage presence looks better because it's a tiny stage at an intimate venue. does anyone know how they billed his performance btw?? "Nick Hexum, featuring the music of 311" ??
and are there any other bands whose singer does shows singing to backing tracks of his band??
