TB DVD project
TB DVD project
What happened guys? I have a DVD burner and plenty of blanks, just waiting. Has this completely crapped out? Somebody send me the thing, and I guarantee I will promptly make 2 copies to send to others.

Re: TB DVD project
greetings mike/nancy! this true fan can help- i have a dvd burner and a lot of free time.
i also have an external hd that runs 24/7 like a server.. i was lucky enough to get a hexagon.cc invite, so perhaps i can make a private tracker for people to download the DVDs via torrent (but snail mailing to anyone with a slow connection/ small hard drive)... btw, how many dvds is it total?

Re: TB DVD project
okit is about 25-30 i didn't countthem. i watched them and they are great. some better some worse from 1994 to 2006.
i think that your ideA to have them accessable online through your server would be most efficent way to distribute them. if 3stripes is watching, what do you think?
send nan a pm with your address and i will send you a copy for online distribute.
thanks for the help
oh yea, i am doing 3 dj gigs this weekend so i will resume copying on monday.
great weekend to all!!

Re: TB DVD project
i dont know what you mean by "put them up somewhere" -- thats not really feasible
if dj3 sets up a tracker i'll load them up

Re: TB DVD project
We're talking about 32 DVD's, right? That's roughly 128 gigs of data. That would be an insane torrent. I think we'd still be better off shipping DVD's around, unless people actually are going to leave their computers on for the next couple months for seeding. It's a little unrealistic.

Re: TB DVD project
like i mentioned earlier, my server has plenty of space for that and i leave it on 24/7. my upload speed is very nice too- FiOS.wbrycew wrote:We're talking about 32 DVD's, right? Re: TB DVD project
yea, but who the fuck at 128gb on their computer to download the thing, and a lot of us are on shitty internet, so it would literally take a couple months. roughly 4 for me, and that was with me occasionally using the college internet which ill no longer be able to do

Re: TB DVD project
it is possible to make every iso an individual torrent file. would that make it easier?
