Last night was my gfs first 311 concert

At first dateing me, my gf HATED 311 with a passion but they have warmed up to her and she likes most if not all of there songs.
She has never seen the band. Doesnt know who any of them are or what they look like.

Nick comes out on stage and they start playing.

Me:(i give a long awkward stare)

Gf: "What?"

Me:(pushes her into nearest mosh pit where she gets trampled and sent to the hospital)

Yep, 2-3 row in the pit, in front of miT. I spent most of the show keeping the crazies off my gf; mine's tiny too . Sneaking into soundcheck and meeting miT+Nick was definitely the highlight of the night.

When I met my girlfriend 9 years ago I was surprised to find Grassroots in her cd collection. She didn't really like it but she still had it which was cool. But she really hates 311 and she has told me for years they are so gay and cheesy. Then Nick started wearing white pants and I had no comebacks. Its true. Ive also been hanging for them to come to Australia for over ten years. Ive seen thousand of smaller bands manage to come and tour here yet 311 haven't been once. So she basically points out that 311 are purely and simply interested in making money. For that I also have no comebacks.
