Yes you did Nate
But alot of people are in denial and think that 311 is still a great band with much more awesome music to come, and don't wanna hear this kind of talk.

Don't act like you're not gonna give the next album a chance.... and if it's great I'm sure you'll be fans again.

I agree with you. I just lost some hope after the whole DTOM experience. I cant lose complete hope because Chad Sexton is still in the mix, that guy is my hero. I go to shows now for the old songs, like Element once said, nowadays it feels like a 311 reunion tour. I have seen 311 every year since 2003 and the only thing that changed/stood out of those shows for 5 straight years was hearing Six & Cali-Soca during that whole time..flyersfan900 wrote:Don't act like you're not gonna give the next album a chance.... and if it's great I'm sure you'll be fans again.

what's your point? They suck now and if they decide to discontinue sucking, I think that'd be great. Still doesn't take away the fact that Nick wears white pants and gels his pubic hair amongst many other things.flyersfan900 wrote:Don't act like you're not gonna give the next album a chance.... and if it's great I'm sure you'll be fans again.

Your musical tastes have changed, that's all. Amber got out seven years ago, didn't it? And you still complain about it.

The Expendables (a little cheesy, but still good)
i'm the only one that thinks that these guys blow big time? I can't stand a single song that I've heard from them, and they look so stupid live. So boring, if you want to talk about going through motions, bring up these dumbasses, they totalled ruined the whole concert when they opened for Pepper last fall. Had people tryin to mash at a reggae show

Re: 311 have completely sold out their fans
No, I didn't. I was generalizing, and not talking directly about you (so you misunderstood my point). I still think our taste for music has changed so 311 doesn't fill our expectation. I'll go further and say that 311 is not considered "cool" among the American trends of music. You have recommend music to TaiyedBorders that has thousands of listeners, and most people in this forum recommends as good. My point is that you all fail to admit that 311 isn't 'trendy' because that would go against your conception that you only listen to good/obscure music. Just my $0.02.Nate wrote:apparently you chose to misunderstand my whole point. Congratulations.$nipe wrote:Your musical tastes have changed, that's all. Amber got out seven years ago, didn't it? By the way, I liked Sonic Boom Six. I hadn't listened to a decent ska-something band in literally years.

lol, can you honestly say that you heard them live and could understand the words that guy was saying? Sounding like he was choking on a dick.Nate wrote:pepper sucks and you're a dumb fuck.
