Yea it seems a bit different this summer. They seem to be getting an earlier start. They usually are touring Mid July to Mid August that last couple summers. They have played Chicago on August 11th for 3 straight years. I think its been more like 35-38 shows in past years.

It seems like a lot of fans aren't able to go to shows this year because 311 isn't doing as wide spread of a tour, like how Austin gets 2 shows in a row while other places get none.

Yep. I won't be seein them this summer.
The only show is in Tampa and that's a 5 hour drive from where I'll be.
Driving that far to see snoop dogg? no thanks.

I wish they would just do a more widespread tour with different openers, so they could hit more smaller locations and not have overpriced tickets cuz they want to tour with some big commercial star.

I wanna go since I didn't go last year. But I'm not gonna decide until I find out the situation with Snoop. I do not wanna see 311 open for Snoop if that's the case. I wish they would just do a tour with only them or maybe some really small up and coming bands for openers doing really short sets. Though with snoop fans in the crowd this year the air should smell quite fantastic!
